Joining the Friends provides you with the opportunity to join a community that believes that Penfield Public Library is a key contributor to Penfield's quality of life. The contributions of energy and money to the Friends provides the Library with the capability to invest in new initiatives to meet the evolving needs of Penfield.

Examples of initiatives enabled by the Friends include: streaming services, Spring into Arts, Rochester Children's Book Festival, and many adult education offerings.

Use PayPal, Debit or Credit Card

Membership dues is $10 for a family and $5 for an individual or senior couple.

For PayPal: Please make sure to use the “Add a note to your donation” feature to let us know the membership type (Individual, Family or Senior Couple), so we can issue the correct membership card. In addition, if you are interested in volunteering for our book sale, or in any other capacity, note that as well.

Or, you may write a check and then print and fill out the below form, at the link, and mail or bring to the Library.

If not issued at the circulation desk, a card will be emailed (this is preferred) or mailed to your provided address. Make checks payable to the Friends of Penfield Public Library. Membership is valid from January 1st to December 31st.

Members have exclusive entry to the first day of book sales.
